Thomas “Bud” Meberg serves as Principal and Executive Vice President of Consolidated Carpet, with over 40 years of experience in the flooring industry.  Throughout this time, he has gained expertise in all areas of the business, beginning his career as a carpet mechanic and later working as a labor dispatcher, where he became familiar with the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.

Bud has served as a Project Manager for Consolidated Carpet.  In this capacity, he compiled project take-offs based on architectural plans and conducted project estimates and bids.  As Project Manager, he scheduled installation crews and interfaced with superintendents.

Currently, Bud maintains exclusive contract work with companies including IBM, Deutsche Bank and Simpson Thatcher & Bartlett.  He is responsible for generating new accounts, pricing projects and negotiating contracts.

Bud received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and History from Saint Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.  He has OSHA certification and is a member of professional organizations including Starnet Flooring and the Floor Covering Installation Contractors Association.
